Slovenian supercar maker Tushek will follow its Renovatio T500 with the faster, lighter Forego T700. It aims to rival the Lamborghini Aventador and will use a carbonfibre monocoque chassis and titanium components to keep the kerb weight down to around 1000kg.
Power will come from a development of the 4.2-litre Audi V8 used in the Renovatio T500. With around 700bhp expected, a turbocharger or supercharger would seem likely to liberate the extra power.
According to Tushek, the Forego T700 is designed and engineered with "form follows function" in mind, so expect an appearance as single-minded as the T500.
Tushek's founder Alijosa Tushek says the new car will be capable of generating 3.3g in extreme cornering. With the Forego T700 still very much in the development stage, few firm details exist, such as a price and a launch date. Given the T500 costs £245,000, a price of more than £300,000 has been predicted.
