Nissan has announced prices and specifications for the new Micra before it goes on sale in September.
The new Micra will be priced from £9,950 for the Micra Visia, rising to £11,550 for the Micra Acenta and to £12,950 for the Micra Tekna.
The design of the new Micra is different to its predecessors, with a new look front and rear as well as a more preium interior. The key interior features of the standard Micra Visia are its new centre console, upgraded materials and AUX and USB connectivity. Additionally, a touch-screen display and Nissan Connect – a navigation and communication system – make the new Micra easier to use.
The Micra Acenta adds more features including cruise control, climate control and audio controls, while the most advanced Micra Tekna includes parking slot measurement, suede seats and an i-key which gives keyless entry and start.
All versions of the coming Micra provide the option of a five-speed manual gearbox, or a CVT transmission. Two engines are available — a 1.2-litre 79bhp unit or a 1.2-litre supercharged DIG-S powerplant with 97bhp.
