Porsche's latest-generation GT3 gets its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed
Porsche's new 911 GT3 will get its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The 3.8-litre, 196mph car will form part of an expanded showcase from Porsche, as it celebrates 50 years of the 911 at the festival. Joining the GT3 will be a parade of 911s going through each of the car's seven generations.
Leading the procession will be an original 1967 911 from Germany, which has represented the brand at events all over the world over the course of this year. Models representing all seven generations of the 911 will be parading around the Goodwood course.
Several of Porsche's historic racers will also be taking to the hill, celebrating 90 years of Le Mans. A 911 GT1 from 1998, and the 1987 962 will both be on display for the crowds. The 1970 917 KH will also be reunited with its driving team of Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood on the hill.
Visitors to the Festival of Speed will also get to experience Porsche's Cayenne firsthand, as it carries out demonstration runs around the Goodwood estate.
