All-new concept car to appear alongside new GS300h in Frankfurt
Lexus will reveal a new concept car at the Frankfurt motor show next month.
This first teaser image is the only photograph of the new car to have been released by the company. It shows that the new design will retain Lexus's large front grille, and appears to show a new headlight and daytime-running-lights design.
Lexus remains tight-lipped about the concept in the run up to the show, merely confirming that the car is an all-new design. However, the concept is likely to show a production form of the IS300 coupé, which was recently spotted testing at the Nürburgring. The car is also likely to take several design cues from the LFA hypercar.
The concept will be joined in Frankfurt by Lexus's new GS300h, which gets its European debut at the show. First seen at the Shanghai motor show earlier this year, the GS300h is due to go on sale at the end of this year. It is powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine and an electric motor and emits less than 110g/km CO2.
